I began working with Master Personal Training in late October 2011, to date have lost 20 pounds (7th Jan 12.) I wanted to lose weight and although had tried every diet under the sun, had never managed to lose all the weight and keep it off, with Christmas looming I was starting to feel pretty down about myself. Haitham and Master Personal Training were recommended to me by a friend, who has also worked with them after having her first baby, when she was keen to lose a few pounds.

I was really worried before I started training, as I had not been in a gym for years, I knew my fitness level was very poor and that I was at least a stone and a half over weight. Within a couple of weeks I could feel I was getting fitter and the combination of training and sticking to the nutrition and diet advice I was given was definitely starting to make a difference.

I still have about another stone to lose to hit my target weight, but I am now able to wear clothes that I have not been able to fit in for years and feel pretty good when I look in the mirror. It’s a great confidence boost when you see friends you haven’t seen for a few weeks and they notice the difference.

I know without Master Personal Training and Haitham specifically, I would have given up long ago and now be feeling demotivated and frumpy, rather than feeling really positive about how I am looking and that I don’t dread going to the gym now! Our sessions are fun and an hour passes really fast, each session feels different as Haitham has me doing kettle bells, VIBR and kick boxing, which was all new for me.

I have used Haitham for over two years and have found him to be thoroughly professional and knowledgeable about exercising and nutrition as well as general health and lifestyle issues. 

At the outset, he took time to determine my individual needs and what I wanted to achieve.  Being in my sixties, I needed an exercise programme that would suit my age and condition.  Haitham developed a personalized programme for me which uses a wide variety of exercises and equipment.  He monitors my progress on an ongoing basis and modifies the programme from time to time as required.  Importantly, he also explains the rationale behind each updated programme.   

He is an excellent motivator who continually sets up ever more challenging targets.  I readily admit that I would never have had sufficient motivation to ‘push the boundaries’ to the extent Haitham’s personal training achieves.
