After having 3 children, I had not been in the gym for years, I had managed to put on 4 stone and had almost no self confidence. My Mum and husband clubbed together for my birthday and bought me the EBT package, 4 training sessions a week over an 8 week period. I began training in March and am now at the end of the 8 weeks, having lost 24 pounds, dropped a dress size and a half and am starting to feel like the old me again.

It is a lot of hard work, I have had to change my eating habits considerably, find time to fit in exercise around a family life and the motivation in myself to keep going, but the encouragement I get from my trainer is brilliant. He understands that I don’t like exercise and don’t feel hugely comfortable in the gym, but finds lots of ways to keep our sessions light hearted and as fun as they can be!

He has been great helping me to understand where I was going wrong with my diet and scarily what I was feeding my children! He has helped me to see that food is not the answer to a bad day and that I do have the ability to change my bad habits. I still have a long way to go but now with help from my trainer I can for the first time in a long time see the light at the end of the tunnel and a size 12 is realistic!

Master Personal Training was recommended to me by a colleague at work, I was keen to tone up and increase my muscle mass and although I had been going to the gym on my own, I wasn’t really sure of what to do and how to do it. After a lengthy and in-depth consultation with Master Personal Training, I decided to buy 10 sessions and give it a go. I had assumed that my first session would be a light introduction and not too difficult, how wrong I was! I was put through my paces and pushed in a way that I had never pushed myself, the time flew in and I realised I had a lot to learn but was definitely in the right hands.

I began training with Master Personal Training in January 2012 in advance of my wedding in the May. I had never been in a gym and was terrified, not to mention incredibly unfit and overweight!

My trainer Haitham put me at easy instantly and was incredibly supportive, kept me on track, motivated and most importantly made me work considerably harder than if I had gone to the gym on my own. He doesn’t take no for an answer, which is just what I needed.

I opted for a boutique package based around 3 training sessions per week, Haitham went out of his way to accommodate my work commitments training with me at 6.30am in the morning and as late as 9pm at night – this was exactly what I needed and I don’t think anyone besides Haitham would have cared enough about their client to have worked at these hours with me, this was well above and beyond the call of PT duty!

In 5 months I lost over 3 stone, dropped 3 dress sizes and am absolutely delighted. My honeymoon was the first time I have ever had the confidence to wear a bikini and I felt great.

I have used Haitham for over two years and have found him to be thoroughly professional and knowledgeable about exercising and nutrition as well as general health and lifestyle issues.

At the outset, he took time to determine my individual needs and what I wanted to achieve. Being in my sixties, I needed an exercise programme that would suit my age and condition. Haitham developed a personalized programme for me which uses a wide variety of exercises and equipment. He monitors my progress on an ongoing basis and modifies the programme from time to time as required. Importantly, he also explains the rationale behind each updated programme.

He is an excellent motivator who continually sets up ever more challenging targets. I readily admit that I would never have had sufficient motivation to ‘push the boundaries’ to the extent Haitham’s personal training achieves.
